| The Wellness Continuum offers therapeutic non-sexual massage according to the member standards of THE AMERICAN MASSAGE THERAPY ASSOCIATION. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable and non-judgemental environment for our clients. Clients are draped with a sheet/towel at all times during a session. Only the body part being worked on is exposed at the time. Personal and professional boundaries are observed at all times. The genitals are never exposed or massaged. Clients are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, body type, political affiliation, state of health or personal habits. We provide competent and professional service at each client visit. Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times as per the Health Insurance Protection and Portability Act (HIPPA). We keep accurate records on each session. We do not provide direct billing for insurance, but will gladly assist clients in filling out their forms. We are available to clients by phone between the hours of 10am to 9pm. (Eastern time), and by e-mail 24 hours a day. Responses are returned within 24 hours. Appointments are confirmed the day before the session. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made prior to treatment. Currently, we accept only cash and checks (with 2 pieces of ID). In the future we will accept credit cards. Of Our Clients, we require that sessions begin and end at scheduled times. Sessions begun late due to the client arriving late end at the appointed time and are full price. If cancellation is necessary, please give a 24-hour notice or you are charged for the appointment unless it can be filled. Emergency cancellations are determined at the discretion of the Wellness Continuum. Payment is required at the time of service. Massage is contraindicated while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Please do not eat a heavy meal less than two hours prior to treatment. |
